What is your current tuition?
​​The current Tuition is $2495.00, but we do offer a special sale from time to time.
​At present the tuition will be at a discounted rate of $1695.00 which includes book and supplies and can be paid in installments of weekly payments until the balance is paid in full.

What is your class schedule?
We do start a new class the 1st Tuesday of each month and classes are held Tuesday through Saturday 10:00am to 1:00pm or 10:00am to 3:30 pm or Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nights 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

Who needs a nail license?
In the State of Illinois anyone that offer nail services for a profit must be licensed.

How can I get my license?
The requirement by the State of Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations is that you must be at least 16 years of age and have a High school Diploma, GED, or eight grade transcript or its equivalent. Attend a licensed Nail Technology School and successfully complete 350 hours with a passing scope of 75% or higher and take the State board examination and pass.

What if I want to attend your school, what is the process?
We have a very simple and easy process to start the process, the website have a section where you can submit an application then we will call you or you can drop by the school to complete the process. An interview, a tour of the facility and if you are ready, an application is completed, registration fee, tuition and down payment is paid we can create a start date and completion date for you. A new class is usually the 1st Tuesday of each month and we ask that you register at least two weeks before the class begins.

Do you take transfer students from another state or another school?
Yes, we do, but we follow the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations guidelines. If you are coming from a different state we suggest you contact the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations for the guidelines. If you are coming from another school in the State of Illinois you must have a transcript from the school you are coming from and have an interview with the Chicago Nail School director before the transfer can be completed?

Is there financial aid available?
In the State of Illinois the Nail Technician program has no financial aid, but Chicago Nail School have a payment plan and sometimes financing can be arranged.

Do your school offer advanced training?
Yes, Chicago Nail School specializes in advanced training programs and offers them all year round. While you are on our website you can visit the link that has the advanced training and see some of what we offer.

What about job placement, do your school offer job placement?
Yes, job placement is one of the things that make our school so successful. Over the 25 years plus that we are in business we have placed students in some of Chicago most elite salons and spas. Is there parking at your facility?
Yes, we do have ample parking. There is not a parking lot attached to the school but there are three city lots that have all day parking free along with ample street parking. There is no meter parking in Blue Island all street parking is also free.

What if I work full-time can I attend your school?
Yes, we are very accommodating and have very flexible schedule for those who want to attend. Our day and evening classes Tuesday through Saturday should be more than enough to accommodate your busy work schedule.
